Join Jennie Ray Hart and Camille Heller of Humble Haven Yoga as we open up our current 200-hr YTT module on hands-on assists to fellow yoga teachers seeking continuing education on the subject. Whether you have been teaching yoga for years, dusting off your teaching hat after a hiatus, or are simply seeking an opportunity to immerse yourself in a learning environment - we would be honored for you to join us!

This course will be a deep exploration of hands-on assists to learn and understand how to intentionally support your yoga students’ practice through physical touch. Rooted in the foundation of consent, this program is based in the principle that assists stand to support practitioners in creating stability, strength and freedom in their bodies.

The Journey Into Power sequence is the root of our study. Together, we will practice, lecture, inquire, engage, embody, and enact all facets of the art of hands-on assisting for a physical yoga practice.

Discussion topics will include the importance of consent, communication, safety, confidence, and anatomical application for assisting a vinyasa yoga practice. Over the course of two days, we hope to offer you a rich learning environment and a deeper understanding of how to support a varied population’s unique yoga experience.

Participants must be graduates of a 200-hr yoga teacher training. All RYT’s will earn 13 hours of continuing education accredited through Yoga Alliance.
