Humble Haven 8th Anniversary
A Mission Moment Share by Humble Haven’s Founder, Suzanne Burns
“Humble Haven Yoga was first opened on January 6, 2016 because I wanted a space in the city of Richmond where I could teach and personally practice the yoga that I had grown to love and respect - Hot Power Yoga. The spark to begin was seemingly simple even if the process of creating and managing a space for people to gather and practice was not always so.
Lucky for me, people showed up and have continued to show up and it’s the people that have made Humble Haven Yoga really come to life.
Over the past 8 years Humble Haven has expanded and contracted, in all ways, again and again. Each moment of expansion and each moment of contraction has been a response to the pulse of the people that make up our community.
Whether it’s class styles, products, the people, or pure space, we hope that if you are showing up here, you feel seen and heard at Humble Haven.
As we look ahead to the next 8 years and beyond, I simultaneously look back at each and every triumph and heavy stumble with deep gratitude for the people that have been a part of our story thus far. I am also looking forward to meeting new people that have yet to come and deepening relationships with those present today.
Happy birthday to us Humble Haven family! “
