Outdoor Baby+Me Yoga

Baby+Me Yoga is back this fall – this time in the morning! Join Rachel K on Sunday at Bryan Park September 25 through October 30. Class will start at 9:30am.

Classes will be a flexible combination of community building, breathwork, and mindful movement, focused on building strength for postpartum recovery and holding baby as well as releasing common areas of tension from being a new parent. Opportunities to move with and interact with your little one will be provided along the way, but are never mandatory. This class is meant to connect you with other families and create a relaxed space to reground yourself and create meaningful connections with your little one. Even just a little breeze and sunshine can go a long way!

Class is open to one caregiver/parent and one infant (8 weeks to pre-crawling) and accessible for all levels of experience. Postpartum participants must be cleared by a medical professional for exercise. Bring a yoga mat and an extra blanket for baby plus anything else baby and you would need to be comfortable and relaxed (examples: layered dress for weather fluctuations, bouncer/age appropriate seat, any feeding support, toys or lovies…just nothing too noisy please).

Class will meet on Sunday from 9:30-10:30am @ Bryan Park for 6 weeks (9/25 - 10/30).

Sign up for the full series (6 weeks) to receive a discount or drop in for a single class when you’re able to!

Dates: 6 Sunday’s 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30
Time: 9:30-10:30am
Cost: $120 for Full Series / $25 Drop In

In the event of inclement weather, class will be canceled and attendees notified by 7:30am the day of class and a make up class will be scheduled.

About Rachel Knight

Rachel began teaching Prenatal Yoga in 2018 and it quickly became her favorite class of the week. She is passionate about offering tools to support the physical body and mental well being of each student so that they leave class feeling stronger, supported, and more at ease with themselves. She empowers her students to tap into their inner strength, find grace for themselves and to connect more fully with their bodies and their spirit. And she is grateful for each person who shows up on their mat to put in the work and to feel more connected with themselves, their babies, and their community.

Rachel’s son Leo was born in September 2021 and her passion for the pre- and postnatal community grew even more. The tools and lessons learned from this practice of self compassion, resilience, and trust were a part of her birth and continue to be a part of her parenting. She is reminded constantly of the strength it takes to be on this path and the importance of having supportive connections, and she is humbled every day to be a part of this community’s journey.

Rachel completed her 200-hour teacher training at Humble Haven in 2017. She received her 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher certification with Humble Haven (2018), her Yoga for Resiliency & Trauma training with Sacred Roots Wellness (2019), and most recently completed a Postnatal training with Awakened Spirit (2022).
