Join Marge as she lays out a big buffet of drills, strength exercises, helpful stretches, and mobility work to get you off your feet and onto your hands. We will explore bent arm balancing postures such as crow (the gateway drug to arm balances…) and variations, to balancing on the forearms, and insider tips to getting up and STAYING up in a handstand. You’ll also be sure to walk away with an idea of where you can sprinkle these empowering shapes throughout your power practice. Let’s get flipped!

Meet the Instructor — Marge!
Marge is a lover of languages, movement, and being upside down. She carries a BFA in dance performance and choreography from VCU as well as a professional contemporary circus certification from FLIC Scuola di Circo in Torino, Italy.
Her passion for creative movement expression is unmatched; she seeks to guide students into their full potential and personal power while building a safe space for creativity, humor, and emotional release. She brings a wealth of physical knowledge to her personal style, including extensive training in artistic gymnastics, contemporary dance, circus education, and various yoga techniques including Power, Yin, Vinyasa, HIIT, and Rocket. Marge’s teaching combines elements of strength, flexibility, grace, and restoration in unique and thoughtful sequences designed by a full heart while forever living by the motto: “when doubt presents itself, invert yourself.”
