Join Humble Haven Yoga for a 35-hour teacher training program designed to teach registered yoga instructors the methodology of our Yoga Build offering. During this program, participants will study both body movements involving free weights, as well as, yoga postures used to prepare and balance the body. All participants will have the opportunity to teach within our training hours with the intention that all will feel prepared to lead a class of this style upon completion.
Curriculum:
Anatomy study of the legs, biceps, triceps, back, chest, shoulders and abdomen in relation to movements offered in a Yoga Build class
Structure of, cueing for, contraindications of, and alternatives for free weight movements in a yoga class structure
In-depth study of yoga postures for preparatory, foundational, and restorative movement
Sequencing, pacing, and cueing for multi level classes
Structuring a 45 minute and 60 minute group class
Classroom set up and safety
Teaching to music / beat work
