Power UP! Series


Do you feel like you’ve reached a plateau in your Power practice? Or maybe you have seen other yogis braving some crazy-looking postures in a class and wondered where to even begin? If you are curious for more, you are ready to Power UP! This series is instructed by Marge and is broken up into three 2-hr sessions. It takes an extended and more intimate look at the standard Power sequence and allows time and space to dig into various opportunities to amplify. You will discover what works for you, identify achievable goals, and together we will work to spice up your practice! Please bring your mat, a journal, a pen, and a sense of adventure!

  • Session 1: focusing on the standing series

  • Session 2: focusing on the seated series (backbends, stretches, final inversions)

  • Session 3: YOGA PARTY! Marge will lead a full class and give extra TIME as people choose their amplifications of choice!

When: 3 Saturday's - 6/12, 6/19, 6/26 (full series only, no drop-in's)

Time: 1:00-3:00pm

Meet Marge!

Marge is a lover of languages, movement, and being upside down. She carries a BFA in dance performance and choreography from VCU as well as a professional contemporary circus certification from FLIC Scuola di Circo in Torino, Italy.

Her passion for creative movement expression is unmatched; she seeks to guide students into their full potential and personal power while building a safe space for creativity, humor, and emotional release. She brings a wealth of physical knowledge to her personal style, including extensive training in artistic gymnastics, contemporary dance, circus education, and various yoga techniques including Power, Yin, Vinyasa, HIIT, and Rocket. Marge’s teaching combines elements of strength, flexibility, grace, and restoration in unique and thoughtful sequences designed by a full heart while forever living by the motto: “when doubt presents itself, invert yourself.”
