Restore Yourself

Join Andrea Gruber for Restore Yourself: A Yoga Stay-cation Retreat – a two day local experience of restorative rest. We will move slowly and intentionally to find a deeper connection with ourselves. Do you spend your days running from here to there? Or do you feel tired when you wake up in the morning? If so, please join us in slowing down on Friday December 9th and Saturday December 10th. Not available for both days,  join us for Friday or Saturday only – see investment options below.

Expect a nourishing space for journaling, conversation, meditation, snacks, and movement. Movement practices will include Power Down on Friday and a Restorative Yin offering on Saturday. Both offerings are intended to move slowly and intentionally in connection with your breath. Facilitating a space of reduced stress and overall sensation of relaxation. Power Down will focus on building heat and burning off stagnant energy to prepare the body for rest. Restorative Yin will focus on supportive release by the use of props and time, with each posture being held for 3-5 minutes. These postures will be close to the ground to deepen the sense of support and invite the physical and mental bodies into a space of letting go.

On Saturday, curate your experience and choose from an ionic foot detox, IV vitamin therapy or acupuncture. These services will be provided by PURE ESSENCE Med SPA and Elizabeth Fuqua. Space is limited for each service option – within a week of registration Andrea will send you a link to choose an available foot detox, IV therapy OR acupuncture time slot. No need to travel far to find rest and rejuvenation – start close to home and dedicate this time to yourself. Please join us!

Please bring a journal, water bottle, yoga mat and wear comfortable & loose fitting clothes. And please bring a blanket and anything else that feels cozy to you from home (warm socks, pillow, eye covering, etc).

When: Friday December 9th (6:45pm-8:45pm) & Saturday December 10th (1:00pm-5:30pm)

Investment Options

  • Full weekend – $179

  • Friday only – $60

  • Saturday only – $140

Services: See descriptions below for a more detailed descriptions of the additional services being offered on Saturday!

  • Ionic Foot Detox: Helps reduce the accumulations of toxins to prevent diseases and slow down the aging process to maintain your wellness. By introducing a high level of negative ions into the water of a foot bath, the feet, utilizing principles of reflexology and the science of ionization and osmosis, create a positive cellular environment and enable the body's natural detoxification processes to function at their peak. Ionic foot  detox is the safest, most modern and effective natural healing therapy.

  • IV Vitamin Therapy: Intravenous (IV) vitamin therapy also known as iv hydration,  is the delivery of vitamins, minerals, electrolytes and amino acids directly into the bloodstream.  IV vitamin therapy guarantees 100% absorption for a more immediate response to the beneficial properties of each vitamin, resulting in an overall wellness boost.

  • Acupuncture: Enjoy a deep rest and full-body reset during your 30-minute customized acupuncture treatment. Licensed acupuncturist Elizabeth Fuqua will collect a brief health history prior to your session and tailor the treatment to meet your specific needs or requests. During the session, hair-thin needles are placed at specific points along the body’s energetic channels to support the reduction of stress and pain, calm the mind, and restore a sense of balance.
