October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month! One way we'll be celebrating all individuals with Down syndrome is by participating in the 16th Annual Step UP for Down Syndrome 5K on 10/15 at 9am at Dorey Park.

You can join us by walking or by making a donation to support our team and the DSAGR (Down Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond).

The DSAGR has been an important organization for Humble Haven’s owner, Suzanne Burns, who’s beautiful daughter June has the gift of Down syndrome. From the First Call program that connects new parents with other parents of children with Down syndrome, to home visits after a new child is brought home, and ongoing events to help us families within the Down syndrome community connect.

Our fundraising efforts will help support local programs and services, as well as advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome in our community.
