Undoing: A Meditation Series

Undoing: A Meditation Series

A meditation series for anyone who is curious about creating a little space for stillness and growing awareness of your inner landscape - the stream of thoughts, feelings, habits, beliefs and reactions that are narrating each moment of your life. Although meditation is an inside job, there is something profound about joining together in the space of silence. The collective energy of the group provides a container of support and accountability that is often missing when practicing alone.

Sessions will be held weekly on Mondays, 4:30-5:20pm and each session will include a guided meditation with emphasis on body and breath awareness, a brief opportunity for sharing of experiences, and an intentional way to place your attention each week so that you are weaving awareness into your life. Anyone is welcome.

Part 1: Monday October 9th - November 20th | 4:30 - 5:20 PM

Part 2: Monday December 4th - February 5th | 4:30 - 5:20 PM

Alicia is a meditation teacher, mentor and coach at The Space Between. She has been teaching yoga and meditation for almost 20 years and was the owner of Ashtanga Yoga Richmond for 14 years. A seeker by nature, Alicia landed in her first yoga class in her late 20’s and has since been listening and following a wish to live more consciously and awake. Her background is rooted in ashtanga yoga which eventually led her to meditation where she continues to be in an inner work with her teacher Pat Buxton. Learning to sit, peeling back the layers of her humanness, and using the material of her life - the ordinary moments to the most challenging conditions - has been most influential in creating real change and given her the opportunity to experience herself differently. Alicia is passionate about being in community and creating and supporting spaces that cultivate connection and authenticity.
