Burpees for Boobs benefiting the Endorphasm Foundation

Burpees for Boobs

Since 2013, Endorphasm, founded by Erica Porter aka Jungle Grrrl of WOW: Women of Wrestling, has provided a fitness experience that strips away the bullsh*t, sharpens the mind and body, and helps individuals reach beyond their perceived limitations to accomplish their goals.

Looking to expand its contribution to the community, Endorphasm created The Endorphasm Foundation; a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to move past obstacles in their life by embracing the profound healing power of “endorphasm” and their community.

WHAT IS AN ENDORPHASM?

en-dor-pha-sm (noun, verb, adverb) the moment during physical exertion when you
feel that anything is possible.

WHAT IS BURPEES FOR BOOBS?
Burpees for Boobs has been the signature Endorphasm fundraising event since 2016. For the first 3 years, the proceeds went to the Massey Cancer Center in Richmond Virginia. However, with Erica’s Stage IV Breast Cancer diagnosis in June of 2020, the event now serves the Endorphasm Foundation and its mission.

It is a one-day fitness challenge to be held October 14, 2023 that asks gyms, studio owners, and individuals to participate in the completion of 500 burpees in one-hour or less. The task can be completed as a team or you can “ironman” it.

WHY 500 BURPEES?
Because burpees are badass; a beautiful, compact, whole-body event! And, living with cancer isn’t easy, so this challenge isn’t either.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Register individually or become a “supporter” or create a team.

Get all your friends (or members if you manage a fitness facility) to sign up or join your team and support the foundation and the amazing work Erica is doing.

On October 14, 2023, do your burpees in less than one-hour at any time during the
day.

Your donation goes directly to the Endorphasm Foundation and is tax deductible.
