Partner Yoga Playshop

Partner Yoga Playshop

Saturday 9/21 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM

Come move and giggle with your partner, your bestie, or your studio homie in this 2-hour partner playshop. This sequence of poses and supporting touch is designed to challenge you and connect you-- FUN disguised as yoga for two! It's NOT acro and doesn't require any experience, so bring anyone who you'd like a playdate with. Learn the poses (take photos, write them down) to take home or use as party tricks with each other again and again.

Investment: $22 / person

About Parham

Parham found expression through movement at Richmond Ballet and Richmond Olympiad at the age of two and hasn’t stopped since. She practiced asana as a supplement to dance, gymnastics, and competitive cheerleading through high school and into college. Fueled by grief, P took her first 200 hours of teacher training in 2017 and that’s when her established physical asana practice became yoga. Paying it forward and finding dharma through the practice, P has taught in partnership with addiction recovery and cancer treatment centers.

She is trained in Trauma Informed methods and completed her advanced teacher training in 2022 with Kayla Nielsen of GLOW Yoga before co-creating and leading GLOW’s 200 hour yoga teacher training program last fall. She loves teaching yin, restorative, power, recovery, and creatively sequenced vinyasa equally.

Parham founded Luuma Yoga and Ayurveda in 2020 which offers Ayurvedic consultations, workshops, community events, and retreats both domestically and internationally. She received her feminine form Ayurveda Specialist certification from The Shakti School; her Ayurvedic wellness credential is the Eastern complement to a BS in Biology from Virginia Tech. P can also be found leading her home studios' yoga teacher training modules, partnering with Experience Retreats, and GLOW Yoga retreats. She teaches yoga and mindfulness to the students she guides academically at Richmond Montessori School.

P believes that practice is progress, there is no yoga perfect- and it doesn’t have to be so serious to work! Let’s find that space for you and have some serious fun together.
